There aren’t many signs of Fall in Los Angeles, certainly not the weather. But as Southern California heats up again so does playoff season. Dodgers caps are out en mass and it feels like the season is just starting. And it is for Dodgers ace Clayton Kershaw, whose amazing regular season exploits continue to amaze the masses but the only numbers that matter to him are playoff wins.
Ever since that fateful day last October against the Cardinals when one bad pitch hung another L on the perennial Cy Young winner’s playoff record he’s had to wait until now for any redemption. Angelinos hope their dual aces can lead them to the promised land with or without the help of their fearless leader Donnie Baseball.
Thankfully the Dodgers have some offensive weapons and fresh faces in Justin Turner, Joc Pederson, Corey Seager, and our rock Adrian Gonzalez.
